2.1 The Bible's unified message

The Bible is certainly one of the most remarkable books in the world. Although it was written by more than 40 different authors over at least 1200 years, the Bible is knit together in an astounding way:

In the Bible's first three chapters we see God's purpose for life, and humanity's fall into self-centeredness. In the Bible's last three chapters we see God's ultimate purposes accomplished, and creation's restoration from the Fall. In the intervening chapters, three main themes run through the Bible; these form the outline for the three parts of this illustrated series: The Savior, The Plan of Salvation and The Saved.
