If the rapture does not occur until the end of the Millennium.

The Dutch pastor and author, Leenhouts, can represent this theory, since his books have been translated into several languages. In Swedish, they are included in the so-called Shofar series. The first book is titled, "The Man with the jar," and the next is titled, "Competition of the altars".

He received his calling in the fall of 1948 through a revelation of an angel. During this, he was pushed down in his desk chair, and his hand began to write automatically. Clammy perspiration ran down his face, and seeing himself in the mirror, he said that he looked almost like a corpse.
In Rev.10:4, it speaks about 7 thunders. Since their message was to remain secret, John was not allowed to write down what he had seen or heard.

Leenhouts asserted that part of what he received was the secret message of the thunders, and that he had been charged to publish it in his books.

1. Concerning the pathway of the Jews through history until now, they have themselves unconsciously chosen a 2000 year "Via Dolorosa path", which will end in their own spiritual place of execution. The political state of Israel is thereby at risk for being their collective cross.
2. It is therefore of utmost importance that the Spirit of God creates a true unity among us Christians.
   The purpose of this unity in the body of Christ is:
• to preach the gospel to all the nations on earth so that many "heathens" are saved and come in in full number.
• that the 2 prophets in their competition of the altars against the Antichrist's false prophet (see illustration 5.7) would hopefully give rise to an earlier breakthrough for the Millennium. He sees Elijah's challenge and triumph at Carmel against the prophets of Baal as a foreshadowing of what he believes will happen on a world wide scale during our own time.
• that through Christianity's success, the Jews would become so envious that they would all together at once be persuaded to receive Jesus as their Messiah.
3. Consequently, the Jews would be established as a kingdom of priests, just as God had planned for them during the Millennium. In this way, the Jews would more quickly come into their divine calling to be a blessing to all peoples on earth, and then the Millennium could begin.
4. As a result of this:
• the Jews would not need to go all the way through Jacob's trouble, which according to the Bible, reduces Israel's population to one third during the judgments of wrath before they become willing to confess Jesus as their Messiah.
• humanity would not either need to go through the wars and terrors of the judgments of wrath
• because God would delay the judgments of wrath and the rapture of the Bride until the end of the Millennium.

It isn't easy to know how to respond to an interpretation model which seems to overturn all other classic interpretations. Therefore, I will concentrate my critique on the following principle assertions:

1. Right at the beginning of his second book, a warning bell rings, since the manner in which he received the revelation is altogether too similar to an occult phenomenon. According the Bible, the spirit of the prophet is always subject to the prophet. This means that every prophet who communicates a prophetic message from God can also control its delivery, and can stop it if he wants to. I do not imply that everything in his books comes from a false source. Leenhouts himself says that the one who reads and becomes interested must himself test everything, and keep that which is good. My reading and testing showed among other things the following principle faults.
2. We have repeatedly maintained that a ground rule for every scriptural interpretation is that "scripture should be interpreted with scripture". Correctly interpreted, the various scripture passages on an important question should complement one another, not contradict one another.
3. Similarly, even our current-day prophecies should explain and complement the biblical prophecies, and not contradict them, if they are from God.
   Here are 2 obvious examples of the opposite case:
• In Leenhouts' revelation, the "competition of the altars" between the two prophets of God and the Antichrist (as in Rev.11:7-11) leads to a spiritual breakthrough across the entire world. But the Bible states the opposite that the inhabitants of the earth do not repent, but that they celebrate and send presents to one another when they finally see God's two prophets lying dead on the ground. (on TV?)
• Even Leenhouts' revelation that God would delay the rapture of the Bride and the judgments of wrath until the end of the Millennium clearly conflicts with the Bible in Revelation 20:4-6. This passage states: "Then I saw thrones, and those seated on them were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection...they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him a thousand years.

1. The first one is given to us by the Apostle Paul, which we have quoted earlier: "But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that one be accursed!" (Gal. 1:8)
2. The second warning is given to us by the Apostle John in the closing of his book in the words: "if anyone adds to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book; if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away that person's share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book." (Rev.22:18-19)
3. Finally I want to remind you, that one of the Devil's basic lies, is to fool us to choose a wrong way by presenting us a "better solution". He did so to Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sara and Jesus, when he was tempted in the wildernes.

Therefore, I choose to stay away from this explanation. Those of us who live, will certainly see and understand the message of the 7 thunders when they appear.
