8. Preparations for the church before times of persecution

Goal: Christians need to become self-sustaining, in order to survive, for example, several years of persecution during time of the Antichrist.
This section want to exemplify:

8.1 General

We are living in a time of preparation before the last revival, in which there will be great success for the Gospel. This will, in all likelihood, be followed by the usual opposition and persecution. Such was the case in the past with the first Christian church in Jerusalem, and it will probably happen even for us Christians before the rapture of the bride.

In Skane, we have a good friend who has received a number of visions/prophecies about this ever since 1996. Since their content will eventually be published in the form of a survival handbook, we choose to here present only an overview of the intended contents.

During the time of the Antichrist, Christians who refuse to "take the mark of the beast", that is to loyally submit to the rules and orders of the Antichrist, will be excluded (or will exclude themselves) from the services of society.

To be excluded from society can imply:

In order for us to nevertheless be able to survive for several years under such conditions, totally isolated from society, will require that we begin to prepare in time, both mentally and practically. Such preparations could include the following:

8.2 Begin to collect old fashioned equipment

Many Christians will probably be forced to leave their usual homes, to seek refuge with other Christians who have prepared themselves in time by collecting together and storing:

8.3 Create your own training materials

Summarize the main points from text books into an easily read Survival Manual which shows how to:

8.4 Education and training

Give all participants a Survival Manual. Then begin to educate and train especially the youth in olden days living.

This means that they would learn:

8.5 Mobilization program

Each and every Christian has a variety of abilities. Each gift which everyone has will be important. Therefore, build up a network of contacts between members of the congregation. The Lord placed special emphasis upon the importance of deepened cooperation between different churches. The Lord desires to make complete unity in the body of Christ.
You do not know how important these contacts will prove to be when severe troubles come over this country. Things which you didn't even know you could do, such as things you saw your mother or grandfather do, will be brought to your remembrance so that you will all be able to manage together. Everything necessary will become available with time, but mutual contacts will be very important in order that no one suffer any severe deprivation: The following is a quotation from a prophecy: "Do not act rashly, for everyone who worships Jesus is not destined to endure the testing time of persecution. Therefore do not be anxious over what is written in this prophecy."

This message is something which you must make known in order that you--the blessed people in the time of testing preceding the return of Jesus,--will not suffer any major want.

The goodness of the Lord is given to you. And the Lamb will come to you when the time of testing is completed. He comes to receive his adorned bride, and the Bridegroom rejoices over that which is to follow. Test everything you receive. We live in a time of much deception. Be aware that some of what is said is not always right. Listen inwardly, and compare with the Word. Over time, there is always change in interpretations of what is said and written, but the SCRIPTURES will always remain right."

Additional comments from Sam:
From illustration 6.4, we see that God's purpose for us Christians is that we grow in love not only to God, but also to our neighbors and even towards our enemies. None of us has this capability. Such love is namely a gift which only God himself can and will pour into our hearts. And this, in fact, is part of the actual adornment of the bride. (See point 2 in the text of illustration 4.9)
Therefore, the church in Jerusalem didn't escape persecution, and as I wrote in the introduction, this will most likely happen to us Christians during the time of the Antichrist before the rapture of the bride.
